Performing Arts for a Sustainable Future

Acting for Climate is a performing arts company, whose goal is to inspire people to act for a more sustainable future. With a core crew of artists and a broad network of artists and collaborators across several continents, we fuel our work with a wish to change the world.

This is happening at the moment:

A part of our team is now in the Caribbeans with our worldwide sailing performance Currents. Our new immersive tree-performance Alive is premiering in Denmark in the summer of 2026. Our forest performance Bark has toured the European woods since 2021, and are still going strong.

This has previously happened:

In summer of 2022, we toured Ripples all over the Baltic Sea, this was the sequal to our first sailing performance Into the Water in 2019.

Between 2022 and 2024 we co-produced the EEA-funded projects: Circus for Climate, with Riga Cirks in Latvia, which became the performance Dandelion. In the same period we also did the project Redout Skalka in the small town of Jelšava in Slovakia, together with YMCA Revúca, Banská Bystrica Region Youth Council, and the city of Jelsava.

Acting for Climate Montréal is currently touring Branché in North America.
We give workshops for both artists and businesses.

We are continuously creating and broadening our artistic network, this has among other things happened through our Greenhouse Network project.
